 NORML presents J Day on Saturday 3rd May 2008, a national day of protest against cannabis prohibition, and celebration of Aotearoa's cannabis culture!
J Day events are FREE and run from High Noon to 4:20pm. J Day is an R18 event.

Dunedin: The Octagon. Dunedin will be renamed "Dunsterdam" as it hosts the first annual Cannabis Awareness Week, Friday 25 April through to J Day, Sat 3 May. Come along to J Day and meet Maryjane the Canna-Bus, hear music from Left or Right and Bushmaster, plus games, speakers and the annual Scarfie Parade!

We need help to make J Day happen. What can you offer? Perhaps you are a DJ or in a band, or have a generator, or can make some signs, banners or flags, or can help on the day with things like setting up, collecting donations, picking up rubbish, etc. Contact the local organisers above to offer your support. Everyone can help by bringing a donation along to help cover costs, bringing a great attitude (maybe even dressing up not down), picking up their rubbish, and spreading the word. Bring your buddies!
Remember, when injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty! Be there, and show your support for marijuana law reform.
