Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party 
Description: The ALCP "believe it is fundamentally wrong for cannabis to be criminalised and subject to black market 'crime creating' forces, when 52% of the surveyed NZ population have used cannabis." The ALCP were formed to contest the first MMP election in 1996 where they received 1.8% of the vote. The ALCP has ran in every election since.

Green Party of New Zealand Cannabis Page 
Description: All drugs can cause harm. Inconsistent legislation only causes more. The Green’s Drug Law Reform policy would see one law covering all psychoactive drugs. Each drug would be treated differently depending on its level of harm. The drug problem would be tackled on two fronts: reducing drug abuse and reducing the size of the drug market. Drug treatment also features in the plan.

The Daktory 
Description: The Daktory opened at 4pm on 19 November 2008 as a safe haven for members of the cannabis community. Established as a private club, members come together to partake in their favorite pastime.

Established as a model for the legal future of cannabis commerce, The Daktory is also home to the new daktavist branch of Norml. (National Organization for Reform of Marijuana Laws.)
